Worked as a contributing writer for The Daily Review's Football Preview 2018 with Nate Brown, Coy Gobble, Dave Colton, Rachel Winward, and Sports Editor Brian Fees. The publication won a Division IV Keystone Press Award for niche publications with a readership of 15,000 or less.

TERRY PRUYNE
In 2002, Pruyne published his first book, Sports Nicknames: 20,000 Professional Worldwide. In 2017, he published Football Nicknames: Over 7,400 Listed. He was also a contributing writer for The Gospel According to ESPN: Saints, Saviors, & Sinners.
Pruyne has worked for newspapers: The Daily Review (Towanda, PA), the Morning Times (Sayre, PA), and the Star-Gazette (Elmira, NY). He also takes photographs and had his own photography business called Pruyne Time Photography. Born in Athens, Pennsylvania, Pruyne graduated from Athens High School in 1981 and graduated from Mansfield University (PA) with education degrees in History and English as well as his Masters Degree in Education. Pruyne taught at Elmira College (NY) and Mansfield University and now teaches at Corning-Painted Post High School in New York. He currently lives in Addison, NY with his two daughters -- Elizabeth and Juliet. |
